Prize Pool

Every year the campus plays Assassin. This year the pot hits $1,000,000 overnight — and a silly tradition becomes a live social experiment. You are not watching the game. You are inside it.

Everyone you trust is now a strategy.

Prize Pool follows a POV player dropped into a campus-wide elimination game the moment the prize becomes impossible to ignore. Friendships turn into alliances. Flirting becomes cover. Every confession can be a weapon.

State meters track alliance, romance, and suspicion — not a naive exploding dialogue tree. Your path through the graph is a character study of how people behave when a million dollars appears in a game that was never supposed to matter.

The player is the experiment.

Four ways to play the same board.

Every ending answers a different slice of one question: who is the Architect, and why fund a million-dollar campus game?

Champion’s Alliance Protect the favorite. Share intel. Survive as a bloc — until someone decides the pot is worth the betrayal.
Independents No banner, no loyalty. Soft power, side deals, and the quietest path to the last name standing.
The Commission Rules-keepers and rumor brokers. They claim the game stays fair. They never claim to be neutral.
The Architect Anonymous sponsor. Invisible hand. The ending you “win” may still be the ending they designed.

Built like a game. Shot like a film.

Prize Pool is authored as a story graph in Pure Alacrity — the same production OS behind Sidequest and Right Here Right Now! — then delivered through the Alacrity Player on headset, with a 2D director’s path and free-streaming cutdowns on the accessibility ladder.

POV immersion

~35 minutes · PG-13 · campus locations · choices that rewrite who trusts you before the next encounter.

Meters, not menus

Alliance / romance / suspicion shift quietly. The UI never lectures; the performances do.

6–8 endings

~35 nodes keep the map legible for a first play while still rewarding a second run with different faction commitments.

Dated, not dreamed.

Pre-production in Pure Alacrity

Story map, coverage matrix, location list, and shoot-day planning already living in the company OS — not a scattered drive of drafts.

Principal photography

North Carolina campus & near-campus locations · local crew · dual-purpose day logs that feed Pure Alacrity’s post package.

Release ladder

Alacrity Player exclusive (headset) → 2D director’s path → free streaming cutdown for discovery.

Prize Pool is Phase 2 of the VR thesis proven by Right Here Right Now! — a bigger new production, not a sequel. Same pipeline. Higher social stakes.

Marketable on purpose.

Campus Assassin is already a cultural shorthand. A million-dollar pot is an instant pitch. Interactive VR is the format D.C Alacrity already shipped once. Prize Pool sits at that intersection: familiar premise, elevated stakes, proven pipeline.

Investors and partners get a title with a clear one-sentence hook, a dated shoot window, and a finished proof-of-format sitting one click away.

Follow the Architect.

Pre-production is open. Principal is on the calendar. The graph is waiting for the campus.
